ST. LOUIS TIGERS BASEBALL
Base school districts for the St. Louis Tigers Baseball Organization are Ladue and Webster Groves. But, any player that attends a private school or any player from a non-base school district is eligible to play for the Tigers. Many of the Tigers players attend the following schools: Ladue, Webster, Kirkwood, Brentwood, Clayton, Lindbergh, Maplewood, Parkway North, Ritenour and University City, as well as Burroughs, CBC, Chaminade, DeSmet, DuBourg, Lutheran South, Lutheran St. Charles, MICDS, Priory, SLUH and Westminster.
The Tigers home games are scheduled at Brentwood Park, Kirkwood High School, Webster Groves High School, Aviation Field in Forest Park and Jack Buck Field at Heman Park in University City. Team colors are black, orange and white.
The St. Louis Tigers teams have had a lot of recent postseason success, including winning the 2011 Missouri 15U AA USSSA State Championship, appearing in the 2010 16U PONY Zone Tournament in Joliet, IL, winning the 2010 Super Series MO/IL 18U Champions, finishing in the top 8 of the 2009 18U NABF World Series in Jackson, MS, and bids to the 2008 16U NABF World Series in Michigan, the 2008 17U NABF World Series in Virginia, a 2007 16U PONY Regional Championship and berth in the 2007 16U PONY Zone Tournament in Grand Ledge, MI.
Many former St. Louis Tigers players are now playing in colleges ranging from small NCAA DIII and NJCAA junior colleges to NAIA and NCAA Division I schools. For a list of these players, click the Honors link above.
