THE SOUTH-WEST STARS
The South-West Stars base schools are Parkway South and Parkway West. There are also several open school districts that are contiguous to these base schools. They are Parkway Central and North, Kirkwood and Valley Park. If you live in the attendance area of, or attend, any of those schools, you are qualified by residency to attend tryouts for the Stars. It is the Stars' policy to use players from their own area and not to release players from their area to other organizations, except under unusual circumstances.

The Stars will field 14U, 15U, 16U, and 18U teams in 2008. They are anticipating that their home games will be played at Principia High School and Parkway West High School in 2008. The Stars normally have two tryouts, one in the fall and one in the spring. If you are invited to commit to the team in the fall, you will be asked for a non-refundable deposit of $200 in January. This assures you of a roster spot, barring an injury or relocation. The balance will be due after the spring tryouts and before the issuance of uniforms.
