THE ST. LOUIS REDBIRDS
The St. Louis Redbirds are composed of players from the base schools of Marquette and Lafayette High Schools. The club was formerly called the Ellisville Redbirds. Their most famous alumnus is 2005 National League Rookie of the Year, 2006 All-Star Game Home Run Derby champion and National League MVP Ryan Howard. Ryan played with the Redbirds from 1996-1998 before attending Southwest Missouri State University. The Redbirds team colors are red, white and blue. Home games are played at Missouri Baptist University.
